The Sea of Silence
film screening
From the Sahara desert to the first world big cities, The Sea of Silence narrates the process of desertification in our times, a global phenomenon linked to the climate change and the over exploitation of the land. It is a reflection from the ground up, interlinking four stories that show the efforts of human beings to survive in a hostile environment. A radio program showing that absolutely everything comes and goes back to the soil and that there is no spot in this planet that can cope with the rhythm of development and consumerism that we have. The documentary will be presented by its director Yves Sadurní.
