Rafael Azcona is the most international and prolific screenwriter of Spanish cinema. Although his first works were not necessarily on films, since he started writing tales, articles and humorous novels, his extensive cinematographic work are linked to indispensable directors like Luis G. Berlanga, Marco Ferreri and Carlos Saura, with whom he established close ties not only in the professional level.
